You may need to click it to blow it up enough to see it, but the red flag just north of the party marks the location of the dig spot. If you can't find it, check out the screenshot below. If you're in the right spot and you have enough Perception, you'll find a dig spot that hides a hatch in the ground. When the road curves south, you'll instead want to go off the road to the west. You simply cannot take him on yet.įrom the Castle Waypoint Portal, you'll want to go southeast along the road. If you go north of the Yeti, you'll see a Level 12 enemy named The Guardian. After that, you can talk to the Yeti that you freed, though the conversation may lead to you having to kill him. ![]() Unlike the previous prisoner, you don't have a choice on who to fight: you have to take down the snowmen. When you break it, you'll spawn a couple snowmen wardens. When you get to the east edge of the area, you'll find a very large prison crystal. Follow her (or just find other camp if you wind up killing her), and you'll see another person at the campsite. If you go through the dialogue options, you can debate her into leaving you in peace, at which point she'll return to a tiny campsite nearby. You'll soon find a woman who talks to you about her activities in Hiberheim. This will trigger The Captives in the Crystals.Īfter that, go directly north from the battle site. ![]() Regardless of how the conversation goes, you'll have to fight one side or the other. The “wardens” will appear, and you'll have a conversation. Break them, and you'll find that you released a prisoner. Trace the bottom edge of the area as you go east and you'll find a trio of crystals, including a large one that seems to have something in it. The first quest-related ice crystal is southeast. We'll point out a few that should be broken if they're quest-related. The others in the area may contain other things, such as treasure chests. The first two, as shown in the screenshot, will not produce anything special. They can easily be broken by holding CTRL and clicking them, or if you launch a fire-based magic spell at them. Just past the gate in Hiberheim proper, go directly north. Throw the lever, and the gate will permanently stay open, allowing the straggler to rejoin the party. You'll come to a path that is blocked by several barrels and crates. Consult the screenshot below for reference.Ĭontinue east while staying as south as possible. You can disable the trap by moving a crate from the left onto a stone pressure plate located directly south of the statue. You'll eventually come to a statue that is constantly on alert, and just beyond that is a trap that constantly drops icicles. Then, go southeast while tracing the southern edge of the path. ![]() Starting from Almina's body, go back the way you came until you reach the closest lever. It's about the size of the Cyseal wilderness, and there are a lot of opportunities for experience points. Although you've worked your way through most of Hiberheim Cave, the whole of Hiberheim is much bigger.
